DOSE Fest Administration & Festival Support Volunteer

October 2026 – July 2027 | Approx. 2–3 hours per week | Voluntary
DOSE Fest is growing and we’re looking for a brilliant, organised person to help us keep everything moving behind the scenes.
Following the success of our inaugural festival, we’re building towards a bigger DOSE Fest in 2027 and developing an exciting year-round programme along the way.
As our Administration & Festival Support Volunteer, you’ll work closely with our Operational Lead and wider DOSE Fest team, helping us manage the communication, information and practical details that bring a festival together.
What you’ll be doing
Supporting and monitoring the DOSE Fest email inbox
Responding to routine enquiries and directing others to the appropriate team member
Communicating with vendors, activity providers, partners and other festival contacts
Sending application forms, information and follow-up communications
Keeping spreadsheets, contact lists and festival information accurate and organised
Following up outstanding information such as forms, insurance documents and risk assessments
Helping the Operational Lead keep track of actions, deadlines and information
Supporting occasional administrative tasks connected with DOSE Fest events and activities throughout the year
Who we're looking for
You might be a student, graduate, early-career administrator or simply someone with great organisational skills and a few hours each week to contribute.
You don't need previous festival experience. We're looking for someone who is:
Organised and dependable
Friendly and confident communicating by email
Comfortable using everyday digital tools and spreadsheets
Able to keep track of information and follow things through
Happy working independently while staying connected with the wider team
Someone who enjoys bringing order to lots of moving parts!
Experience with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office or similar tools would be useful, but we're equally interested in someone who is keen to learn.
What you'll gain
This is an opportunity to:
Gain hands-on experience supporting the organisation of a growing community festival
Develop practical administration, communication and event coordination skills
Build meaningful experience for your CV
Work directly with an experienced operational and festival team
Develop confidence communicating with external organisations, partners and providers
Take ownership of an important area of the festival operation
See how a large community event develops from planning through to delivery
You'll become a genuine part of the team behind DOSE Fest — helping turn all the ideas, people and moving parts into something that works.
Time commitment: Approximately 2–4 hours per week
Period: September 2026 – August 2027
Location: Predominantly remote, with opportunities to attend DOSE Fest activities and events
Position: Voluntary/unpaid. There may be opportunities for paid work in the future as the project grows and funding is secured.
Interested?
We'd love to hear a little about you, why you'd like to get involved and what you could bring to the DOSE Fest team.
