It will take place on what is known as Angel Meadow which is the beautiful green space on which Angel Pavilion Community Hub sits. Located in Broomfield, Chelmsford, CM1 7AH.

A one-day wellbeing festival built around the science of the four “happy hormones”, Dopamine, Oxytocin, Serotonin and Endorphins (DOSE).
It’s purpose is to provide you with an opportunity to explore what activates your joy. During the event you will be able to trial a whole host of activities, learn more about the science behind your emotions and how our daily habits can influence the way we feel. We want to empower everyone to be happier and in turn healthier. Our festival is designed to be a day of joyful, inclusive, community-powered experiences.
DOSE Fest is for everyone. It is designed with inclusivity at its core, and have been co-designed and chosen to provide happiness activation for all ages and abilities.
Whether you find yourself feeling stressed, stuck, overwhelmed, lonely or simply curious about wellbeing and connection, you are welcome here.
Not at all. DOSE Fest is for real people, not perfect people, because let’s be real - perfect doesn't exist. We want the authentic you here, being your wonderful self. No prior experience of the activities is required and you can join in as much or as little as you like.
You can expect a mix of experiences such as:
• Workshops and talks
• Movement and feel-good sessions
• Creative activities
• Community connection spaces
• Stalls, products, and wellbeing services

Yes. DOSE Fest is being designed with accessibility and inclusion in mind, and intends to provide plenty if experiences suitable for a wide range of ages and abilities.
Accessibility is a key part of how DOSE Fest is being designed. Full access information will be shared once the venue and programme are confirmed.

Absolutely. You are very welcome to come solo. Many people will and DOSE Fest is designed to ensure that you feel safe within a friendly and community-led setting.
Yes. DOSE Fest is a great day to share with friends, family, and your community. We would go so far as to say that you should strongly consider how DOSE Fest tickets may be the ultimate corporate gift for your teams this year. With an emphasis for organisations to take responsibility and support wide scale wellness - take advantage of what is on its way.
Once the schedule is confirmed, we will share practical guidance. In general, wear something comfortable and bring anything that helps you feel at ease for a full day out.
There will also be allocated quiet zones in our gorgeous serene community garden space.
We can never promise good weather so we will keep monitoring it and send out updates to ticket holders and subscribers. We can promise that you will leave the event happier than when you arrive though regardless of what the skies bring us on the day.
YES! If you are a small business, wellbeing provider, community organisation, or facilitator, you can apply to be part of DOSE Fest and use it as an opportunity to share more about what you do.
You may be able to get involved through:
• a stall
• a workshop
• a talk or experience
Spaces will be limited, so we recommend applying early.

Yes. Volunteer opportunities will be shared closer to the event. We will be working with our partners at Chelmsford CVS and so you should approach them for an opportunity to volunteer at our festival as well as other opportunities they provide.
We recommend you join the mailing list to be the first to hear when volunteer roles open.
DOSE Fest is delivered by The Happiness Equation CIC, which is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to improving physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing through creativity, physical activity and community connection.
